In my line of work as a Soul Coach, people always ask me:
how do I find my purpose?
As someone who’s privileged to work on the frontlines of people’s hopes, dreams and aspirations, it’s a rare occasion where I find a genuine lack of purpose or passion. What I do often find, however, is a lack of permission. Permission to want what we really want, and to be unapologetically clear about why it matters enough to pursue.
As the Great Resignation continues with plenty of steam and collective resolve, we are just starting to get comfortable with saying “no mas'' to the status quo. In the wake of a global pandemic and economic upheaval, we’ve decided we are no longer taking scraps-- whether that’s in relation to compensation, work environment, or job flexibility. More importantly, we are reclaiming our relationship to work in a more sacred context. Being fed up is a beautiful thing; if that anger, frustration, and resignation can be leveraged towards a brighter day. And if we can use it to move towards the realization of our truest dreams. I could make this resource all about how to quit, or even how to quit your job, specifically; but I think offering a recipe for universal emancipation is far more useful. Outside of work, we all experience situations that are no longer serving us, and the ability to set yourself free from any situation or circumstance is the gateway to your most fulfilled existence.
